Who:

For individuals who want to learn from what they do, understand what works and prove their impact. This is particularly useful for anyone working in community, participation or education settings, as well as marketing, communications and programming.

What:

Data For... Evaluation will explore which types of data, metrics and measures will result in an effective evaluation, by starting with helping you design an evaluation framework for your work.

In this session, you will learn which kinds of data can provide rich and rigorous insights into your activities and how to use it effectively to make your case. It will cover designing your evaluation framework, identifying metrics and measures, approaches to collecting data, interpreting and sharing it.

Takeaways:

Frameworks to apply when designing your evaluation, confidence in how to ensure that your evaluation does all that it needs to do and suggestions of tried and tested as well as innovative approaches to data collection to give it robustness as well as that something extra.

Format:

This session consists of 3 online workshops, each 90 minutes long, taking place over 3 weeks – in which you will be expected to participate actively. We will provide supplemental reading, takeaway activities and additional resources before and after sessions.

You also get a 40 minute mentoring call with an expert, at a time to suit you.

COVID-19 Update

Please note that, in response to the current development of COVID-19 and advice from Public Health England, this workshop will now be conducted as an online workshop series.

This workshop was initially due to be a full day, in-person workshop. However, we believe that this new format, a combination of online workshops and one-on-one mentoring, offers an excellent alternative and will provide more in-depth and personalised training.

Those booked on to the original in-person workshop will be contacted directly and informed of the alternative arrangements. All previously purchased tickets will be honoured.
