And even once you have it, it can be hard knowing what to do with it, when you've got so much else to focus on. This session is for busy touring producers who need maximum intelligence for minimum effort.
Data For... Touring will help you identify what data you need, how to get it and how to make sense of it: whether that's to make your case, build an audience, and/or plan a tour.
What will you learn:
In this session, you will learn how to formulate the key questions to ask and what you need to do to answer them, what's the most streamlined useful approach and where you can add valuable extra insights that can help you with venues, funders and supporters. We'll talk about how to use data to inform your activities and how to work more effectively on sharing data with venues.
The know-how to write a research/evaluation plan for your tours, confidence about how to make sure the data you use is good enough, where to get help and examples of good practice.
