Adam leads on the producing of The Audience Agency’s events and conferences in the UK and internationally.
Adam is experienced in producing events for the cultural sector, including curating and leading UK-wide industry programmes. He has produced large-scale in-person events at venues including the National Museum of Scotland; Edinburgh; Peltz Gallery, London; FACT, Liverpool, Picturehouse Central, London, and Broadway, Nottingham, for Birkbeck, British Film Institute, BFI Film Audience Network and Arts & Business Scotland. He has produced online events, exhibitions and programmes for Birkbeck, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Centre for Cultural Value and BFI Film Audience Network.
Adam is experienced in curation and working with artists. He founded and produces Pollyanna, a queer arts and cabaret project, delivering shows at Edinburgh Festival Fringe since 2015 and an exhibition project from 2021. He founded and produces Edinburgh Artists’ Moving Image Festival (EAMIF), a video art project working with organisations such as The Fruitmarket Gallery. In recognition of both these, Adam won the Creative Edinburgh Leadership Award 2016. Adam also works as an artist and has created commissions for BBC Scotland / LUX Scotland and Talbot Rice Gallery and exhibited at Kunstmuseum, Bonn; BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead; Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh and Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson.
