As Chief Operating Officer, Julie directs and oversees the internal activities of The Audience Agency; developing, monitoring and delivering plans, planning and managing finance, implementing workplace policies and creating a healthy working culture. She manages the delivery of funded services and leads on the relationship with the UK grant funders. Julie acts as Company Secretary for both the charity and the Trading Subsidiary. Julie is a director of the Trading Subsidiary, TAA Tech Ventures.
Her career began as an HR professional, initially in the National Health Service and then at the British Heart Foundation. She then moved into the cultural sector in various Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer roles, working at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, Cardboard Citizens, Frantic Assembly and Wac Arts.
Julie also holds trustee positions at User Voice, a criminal justice charity, and London Bubble Theatre Company. She is a director of The Audience Agency’s trading subsidiary, TAA Tech Ventures.
