As Senior Research Officer at The Audience Agency, Sophie works on bespoke projects with a wide range of arts, cultural and heritage organisations. She specialises in qualitative research - including design, facilitation, analysis and reporting - to inform decisions around a variety of subjects, from exhibitions and events, to branding and evaluation. She is also experienced in quantitative and hybrid research methodologies.

Prior to working at The Audience Agency, Sophie has experience in a variety of roles within different art galleries and museums, covering curation, marketing, corporate partnership development, arts education, fundraising and digital app authorship.

Sophie has an MA with Distinction in Cultural Policy and Arts Management, and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. She previously conducted academic research on topics such as prescription arts for healthcare, placemaking and the cultural identities of cities.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys life drawing, attending gigs at venues both small and large, visiting art and fashion exhibitions, and long walks with her long dog - Rocco the Miniature Dachshund.
