As Qualitative Research Assistant, Pete contributes to the production, facilitation and analysis of bespoke research projects. Pete has experience conducting fieldwork using such methods as in-depth interviews, focus groups and visitor journey mapping.
Prior to working at The Audience Agency, Pete worked as a Research Officer on a freelance basis. Projects included research design and facilitation with The Centre of Labour and Social Studies and spend analysis projects for anchor institutions within Lancashire, with The Centre for Local Economic Strategies. Pete completed an MA in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester and a BSc in Human Geography from Manchester Metropolitan University. He previously conducted academic research on topics such as cultural integration amongst Chinese diaspora, sub-cultural capital and algorithmic management within the platform economy.
