It's April, we've eaten our bodyweight in chocolate eggs (no? Just me?) and now it's time to tuck in to some tasty digital news.
Before the Easter break myself, Jane and Anra were working on the Let's Get Real: AI report, which outlines all of the excellent findings from last year's LGR cohort. I've shared some of the headlines on LinkedIn, but I'd really recommend reading the full report. Also, more exciting LGR news below.

- Expressions of interest are open for Let's Get Real: Social Impact + AI! AI can transform cultural engagement and impact but it needs ethical, skilled use. This year's programme will build capability, governance, and confidence for those taking part. Find out more and register your interest by 30 April.
- The other month I shared a link around the BBC reframing their approach to YouTube. Well, turns out the new director general of the BBC is a former Google executive, Matt Brittin. Colour me surprised Pikachu face.
- Social media bans and digital curfews are to be trialled on UK teenagers, with 300 teens having their social apps disabled, blocked or capped.
- Wikipedia has banned AI-generated content, primarily due to the number of administrative reports that were centred around LLM-related challenges, causing editors to become overwhelmed.

- Lots of interesting findings in the latest Ofcom report into adultsā media use and attitudes. Key headline is that fewer adults are posting on social media.
- The race is on to produce a logo which denotes something was made without AI. Though the rate at which AI tools are slipping into our phones, software, laptops, etc - it's going to be increasingly difficult to go totally AI free.
- If you've noticed a lot of suspicious traffic on your website the last few months, primarily coming from Singapore or Lanzhou, China, then this article will explain what's going on.
- Here are some great insights from the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations, sharing what they've learned from 10 years of growing digital capability in Scottish charities.

- A dancer with MND was able to perform again on stage, through a digital avatar using her brain waves. Incredible stuff.
- Audley End House's video content is great, particularly this one from Valentine's Day.
- The HTML review is an annual online journal all about literature made for the web, this issue has loads of interesting web experiments built using HTML. H/T to Chiara Ludolini for sharing on LinkedIn.
- I shared some thoughts on Sky's approach to their SNL UK YouTube content. At the time, they were posting SNL UK clips to the general Sky channel, but there was an argument that a dedicated SNL UK YouTube channel would be a more effective approach. They've since launched a dedicated SNL UK channel.
