So, this account which tweets out fun, interesting and indie websites every 2 hours is a breath of fresh air on my feed. I particularly enjoyed this one.

- One of the problems with current social media is that we - the users - make the platforms what they are through our content, conversations and networks - effectively making money for social media platforms without us ever seeing a penny. So, as Twitter continues to be on the ropes, more people are asking whether the subscription-based newsletter platform Substack might be the future of media.
