With a focus on using research to inform practical, evidence-based approaches to planning, goal setting and evaluation, Jacqui’s role includes supporting audience development planning for museums, heritage, libraries, visual arts, and other organisations.
Prior to joining The Audience Agency, Jacqui was the Visitor Engagement Manager for The John Rylands Library in Manchester, where she helped transform this university library into an engaging, public facing destination which is now one of the city’s main visitor attractions. Prior to this she worked in curatorial and collection management roles at the Whitworth and Manchester Art Galleries.
She has a degree in the History of Art and Design from Camberwell College of Arts, with a specialism in works on paper which inspired her practice as a printmaker. She volunteers regularly at her local library, running creative workshops and craft sessions for families, and has for many years been a participant in GISH - a global participatory and collaborative annual event which promotes creativity, kindness, and active inclusion - where she is a team captain.
