Develop your digital priorities, understand how digitalis a part of your wider organisational maturity and see how it can help achieve your strategic goals and mission.

Who: 

Senior leaders (chief executives, trustees or other senior leaders reporting directly to the chief executive).

What: 

Digital is about so much more than just your website, your IT systems or your social media. Being a twenty-first-century cultural leader requires a high-level understanding of how digitalis a part of your wider organisational maturity – and how it can help achieve your strategic goals and mission.

What will you learn:

You will assess the digital maturity of your organisation, in the context of its wider organisational maturity, and reflect on what digital could help you achieve in the future. You will be supported to develop your digital priorities and decide next practical steps you will take in one or two specific areas – through collaborative work with peers.

The session will be led by Patrick Towell, Innovation Director of The Audience Agency Group and Executive Director of its enterprise arm, Golant Innovation. It will use the digital maturity framework co-developed by Golant with The Space and Culture24 (for Arts Council England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund) and Resilient Behaviours Framework developed by Golant in research for Arts Council England.

Takeaways: 

An assessment of the (digital) maturity of your organisation. A practical roadmap for next steps in one or two priority areas.

Format:

This session consists of 3 online workshops, each 90 minutes long, taking place over 3 weeks – in which you will be expected to participate actively. We will provide supplemental reading, takeaway activities and additional resources before and after sessions.

You also get a 40 minute mentoring call with an expert, at a time to suit you.

COVID-19 Update

Please note that, in response to the current development of COVID-19 and advice from Public Health England, this workshop will now be conducted as an online workshop series.

This workshop was initially due to be a full day, in-person workshop. However, we believe that this new format, a combination of online workshops and one-on-one mentoring, offers an excellent alternative and will provide more in-depth and personalised training.

Those booked on to the original in-person workshop will be contacted directly and informed of the alternative arrangements. All previously purchased tickets will be honoured.
