Becky Lees has been Director of LSO Live since 2012, leading the multi-award-winning record label and driving the London Symphony Orchestra’s international broadcasts and digital strategy. Under her leadership, LSO Live has pioneered new approaches to audience engagement, including an AI pilot with OnStage AI and the European Union-funded Gamehearts project, exploring how technology and gaming can connect new audiences with classical music.

Before joining the LSO, Becky worked at the Royal Opera House, where she focused on strategic planning and business development. She is an influential voice within the industry, serving on the BPI Council and the IMZ Board. Becky regularly represents the sector and speaks at major international conferences, most recently at SXSW and Avant Première in 2025.

A graduate of City University, Becky studied Music with a specialism in Ethnomusicology. Outside of her professional work, she is a passionate runner and has completed numerous long-distance events in support of charitable causes.
